Our new concert venue:
Grimsby Town Hall, Town Hall Square, Grimsby DN31 1HU

The committee has made arrangements for a full 2022/23 season. It should be stressed that the safety of our members and visitors will be the first priority at all concerts. This could mean that seating is arranged differently to ensure social distancing.

We look forward to extending a very warm welcome to everyone to come and join us, either as a member or a visitor, to hear music of the highest quality, performed by leading professional musicians, in a friendly atmosphere.

If you would like any information regarding the concerts or would like to become a member, please contact our treasurer, Ian McDonald.

Grimsby Concert Society is supported by Making Music,
The National Federation of Music Societies, to which it is affiliated.

About us:

The Society’s main purpose remains to promote, between October and April, a series of classical concerts of the highest quality, featuring professional musicians. Over the years, our audiences have enjoyed performances of the highest artistic standards by internationally renowned musicians and we have also had the opportunity of hearing young award-winning performers at the outset of their careers.

Building on the success of our past seasons, the Society is lively and has a very loyal membership and continues to welcome new members. Our concerts are also open to non-members, by ticket, and these will be available for any of the six concerts, from the Town Hall Box Office or on the door on the evening of the concert.

There is a good social aspect to the Society, where like-minded music lovers can meet and socialise. This ethos is supported by the additional benefits of membership, including organised excursions to major concerts or other musical events.
